Symmetra to the Observation

How to play symmetra

At first glance, Symmetra’s abilities might seem a little underwhelming. But if you familiarize yourself with her skill set and play her right, you’ll find that she can be a very valuable support asset to your team. Symmetra is equipped with a photon projector capable of firing a beam or a ball. The trick with using the projector beam is to hold down the fire button while attacking. Much like adorn’s Caduceus Staff, the Projector beam will automatically latch on to any enemy within your range, and then drain the HP. The longer the beam stays connected, the more damage you’ll deal over time. Of course, you’ll have to reload the Projector, but if you’re quick enough, you can keep the damage up.

On the other hand, the projector balls can be charged before being released. You can also release the orbs before they’re fully charged. Unlike the beam, bullets have to be aimed manually. The orbs, however, have a piercing effect, which means they can pass through shields and deal damage to enemies.

Symmetra also has Watchtower and can field up to six at the same time. Deploying a new one will deactivate the oldest owned tower. However, these turrets only have 1 HP each, so they can be easily destroyed by enemies. You’ll want to set these up in areas and corners where the enemy won’t think to look. I advise spacing them out in an area so that they won’t all be destroyed dsplash damage. These Turrets also have the ability to slow down the enemy’s movement speed, which is great if you’re trying to keep them away from a control point.

If you want to provide additional support for your squadmates, Symmetra can also field Photon Shields for each of their allies. They give allies an additional 25 HP each and the shields will last until allies die. This means that even if Symmetra falls, the photon shields will remain active as long as your allies are active. Additionally, shields have a very high regeneration rate, so make sure all your allies are covered in photon shields at all times.

Symmetra’s ultimate ability allows her to set up a Teleportation in the spawn room. This is a great skill that allows your party members to instantly transfer from your respawn room to where you choose to teleport, meaning they can get back into combat much faster. The teleporter will disappear after six allies pass or after being shot down by the enemy team. As such, don’t place the Teleportation right in the middle of battle. Place it a little ways away from the firefight where the enemies won’t think to go, and your allies will have a chance to catch them off-guard.

Ability

How to play symmetra

Photonic projector

The projector can shoot a beam or balls and damage your enemies with it. Bullets are a good source of damage due to their piercing ability.

Watchtower

These turrets may not be very durable, but they can prove to be a huge obstacle for the enemy team. The cooldown period for the Turrets isn’t that bad either, so once all Turrets are down, remember to deploy more.

Photon shield

The Photon shield will be very useful for characters with low HP. By giving them a HP regen shield, you’re essentially improving their survivability and allowing them to last longer in a fight.

Teleportation

Podczas gdy twoi sojusznicy nie będą mogli użyć Teleportationa, adwrócić do pokoju odrodzenia, pozwoli to im wrócić do walki niemal natychmiast.

History

How to play symmetra

Here’s the official story of Symmetra in Observation, straight from Blizzard:

  • Real Name: Satya Vaswani, Age: 28
  • Profession: Architect
  • Base of Operations: Utopea, India
  • Affiliation: Vishkar Corporation

Symmetra literally bends reality. By manipulating constructions made of hard light, he creates the world he wants, in the hope of creating an ideal society.

Following the Omnic Crisis, the Vishkar Corporation of southern India began the laborious process of creating new, self-sustaining cities to house the nation’s displaced population. One such city, Utopaea, was created using radical hard-light technology that enabled its architechs to shape the city’s streets, utilities, and living spaces in the blink of an eye.

After she was identified as one of the few capable of becoming a light-bending architech, young Satya Vaswani was plucked from extreme poverty and placed in the care of Vishkar’s architech academy, never to return home. Isolated and alone in her new life, Satya dived into education and training. She quickly understood the applications of this technology and was one of the best students in her class. Satya approached hard light manipulation differently from her peers, with their more procedural and mechanical designs, instead weaving her constructs into the traditional dance movements of her homeland.

Though she was one of Utopaea’s top architechs, the Vishkar Corporation saw far greater potential in Satya’s abilities. Using the nickname “Symmetra”, Vishkar sent her on secret missions around the world to help maintain corporate interests and expand her influence in other countries.

Symmetra believes her actions are for the greater good of society. But there are times when he wonders if the control and order he desires is truly the best for humanity.

Here are some great strategies for controlling the battlefield with Symmetra

Symmetra is technically the second character with a turret, but her turrets don’t do much damage. Instead, Symmetra is in charge of controlling the battlefield, slowing down enemies, and making sure your team quickly joins the main battle.

Symmetra’s move list

How to play symmetra

Primary: Photonic projector

Symmetra’s weapons are a direct close range that actually gets stronger the longer you hold it on target. As with other channel weapons, aiming is primarily for you – the weapon will target the closest enemy in the crosshairs. There are three levels of Symmetra’s beam weapons and you want to keep the enemy on fire at all times and help you stay at the higher levels. This means chasing enemies from the edge of the battlefield.

The Photonic projectors secondary fire is where Symmetra will do most of her damage. The photon orb can penetrate all targets and shields, so it’s good to attack the tanks and those behind them. It takes about 2 seconds to fully charge the photon spheres, so be prepared for a run-up. It is best to use the Photon Orbs from a distance and use them to irritate and injure the enemy team. They move slowly so that enemies can see them, but most of the time they are more concerned about your offensive teammates. Stand back and shoot. The sphere is also great for turrets and bastions. Clip size: 100.

Watchtower

These small turrets fire a slow beam at enemies as they pass. They also deal damage, but this is secondary to their slow effect. You can place up to 6 turrets. You want to weaken the enemy team by placing turrets in the narrow passageways and corridors. I recommend placing them on the door of the inner corridor, where the enemies will receive a hit before they manage to destroy your turrets. Hide your turrets instead of leaving them out in the open.

You can also use the turrets as early warning alarms, which will let you know when the turret is activated or destroyed.

If you build a tower and you already have 6, it will replace the oldest tower in your arsenal.

Photon shield

Symmetra can give her allies a shield worth 25 HP. This is not Zarya’s level, but the shield can be placed on multiple allies, has no duration and only 1 second cooldown. Like adorn’s healing, you want to keep Photon shields up on your team.

Symmetra Ultimate: Teleportation

Symmetra places a transporter pad at the current location that connects to the transporter pad at the respawn point. This is great for allied heroes who have slow movement speed, allowing them to return to battle quickly. Using the Symmetra teleporter may allow you to continue to insist on the point in question. He has 6 charges then disappears. Nie możesz uzyskać więcej ładunku superumiejętności, gdy Teleportation jest aktywny.

Teleportation świetnie sprawdza się na początku meczu w obronie i na końcu meczu ofensywy. In both shots, the distance from the spawn point to the target is greater. Note: Miejsce, w którym stoisz, kiedy kładziesz Teleportation, to miejsce, w którym pojawiają się Twoi sojusznicy, gdy go teleportują. Don’t leave them in the wrong place.

How to play symmetra

How to play Symmetra

Symmetra is a short range support that requires solid breakpoints. You want to keep shields on your team, place towers in good hiding places and use them to slow down the enemy team. W przeciwnym razie upewnij się, że zostawiasz Teleportation w doskonałej kryjówce, ponieważ flankujący bohaterowie ataku będą próbowali go zdjąć. You can attack tanks as your primary weapons ignore their shields and barriers, but this is not your overall goal.

You are mostly around and use to strengthen the team and slow down the other team. Use a photon ball between these main targets to shoot enemy towers, tanks and bastion cannons.

Heroes Symmetra plays well with

Genji / Tracer / Reaper: All flankers can have their neat plan reversed by Symmetra with the towers open. Not only do they slow down the flankers, they also tell Symmetra where they come from.

Reinhardt / D. Va: Your primary weapon ignores their shields and moves slowly so the photon orb can mark them.

Bastion: A bastion of photon orbs for dealing damage and recovering from Sentinel mode.

Who to watch out for when playing as Symmetra

Fara: Fara’s range puts her beyond Symmetra’s range and the rocket launchers will gnaw at your towers.

Junkrat: Junkrat can spam grenades and destroy your turrets, teleporter and you. To avoid.

As always, the strategies we have outlined here will improve your game as Symmetra, which means you can become a more reliable support for your team.

Symmetra is considered a support class in Observation, but our Hero Guide will help you understand that she’s not a support in the same sense as Lucio, adornoZeniatta. While Symmetra doesn’t heal her teammates, she increases mobility, shields and offers more utility than most other heroes on the game. She is also very annoying to the opposing team, having a variety of turrets that can be used in various ways.

Photonic projector

The Photonic projector has two different firing modes. The first is a stream of energy that charges up Symmetra’s ultimate ability while draining the health of her target. The longer the beam is attached to an enemy, the faster the health is drained. If an opponent doesn’t get away from you quickly, they won’t last very long against this attack.

The secondary fire option allows Symmetra to charge up a large, slow-moving blast from the Photonic projector. While some players like to use this attack from a distance, it’s not very effective that way. It’s extremely easy to avoid and can be seen coming with ease. The best way to use this attack is to clear the enemy team of the target. Fire off a charged blast into the center of the opposing team and they’ll either eat significant damageohave to scatter to either side.

Photon shield

Symmetra’s Photon shield gives an allied target a regenerating shield that lasts until the target dies. It doesn’t have a long cooldown, which means that you should make sure each party member has a shield at all times. When someone dies, be sure to give them a shield as soon as they return to battle. Start with your low-health squadmates before making your way to the tank. The extra shield on Zeniattaoadorn can save them from a one-shot death in many instances.

Watchtower

This weapon is Symmetra’s way of annoying the opposing team. Symmetra has up to three sticks of Watchtowers at a time. You can place them on almost any surface and they’ll automatically attack any hostile forces that come within range. Once you’ve placed your stock of three turrets, you’ll have to wait for the short cooldown before you can place another one. You can have up to six turrets active at once assuming they don’t get destroyed.

It’s best to place these turrets at choke pointsoin places where you expect the opposing team to move through. If you’re escorting a payload you can even get away with placing a few turrets on the payload itself to score some damage on an unsuspecting enemy. Don’t think of the turrets as a way to kill enemies, think of them as a way to give your team an extra boost of damage so you can quickly finish off enemies caught in their line of fire.

Teleportation

Symmetra’s ultimate ability allows her to place a portal anywhere on the battlefield that links back to a similar portal at your team’s spawning point. This allows fallen squadmates to quickly return to the battlefield. It’s extremely important as it limits the time your team is handicapped after an ally is killed.

It’s important to place the Teleportation in an area that’s close enough to the battle to be useful, but off the beaten path so that the opposing team doesn’t find it. The other team will be notified when Symmetra places a Teleportation, and if they’re smart they will go looking for it. In addition, once six allied players have passed through the Teleportation, it will collapse and Symmetra will have to activate a new one.

New Symmetra Rework – Getting Started Guide
Today, let’s take a look at how to play Symmetra after all the recent changes!

I mean, I like him, but he’s a completely different hero now. Her left click instead of sticking to targets around corners now scales with your mouse tracing skills, which imo is much harder than widowomcree aiming.

Basically he now has a skyrocketing skill level, not just tactically but mechanically. Now she is there with Zarya and Tracer. And it’s more than just left click, to get value from TP and ult you will need to communicate and coordinate intensively with your team. It doesn’t matter what will be balanced around this.

And it’s more than just left click, to get value from TP and ult you will need to communicate and coordinate intensively with your team. It doesn’t matter what will be balanced around this.

Soooo in other words, she isn’t a brain dead fire and forget hero now. Good. It was really necessary.

I like the changes for her. but i have to say i think she needs some mobility dramatically, teleportation is not enough. 10M is super short, it’s a melee range at the limit, and to enter that range it will take damage before entering, it has not received CC. Also, I don’t like that her new modifications are a neff for reinheart that already isn’t doing very well with breigetta game, now a rein basically means a free supercharged symmetra.

The game and a lot, no matter what it is, requires a large number of lower skill players to afford to create content for the more serious ones. If you make the character of and much require high skill, there are no low skill characters for those people and they get bored and stop playing. If this happens, the amount of revenue from the loot boxes decreases and it becomes more feasible to continue creating content. Therefore, while some rework was needed, if it makes it too difficult to play for those who have played it before, then it is not “good” as you say. Midfield is a much better option.

Its mobility is truly exceptional. Teleporters behave almost like Tracer’s blink – you can go back and forth between portals while he’s active, which is actually very large, although the enemy will know where you’re going.

I’ve tried, and it’s great for team mobility, but she’s still a 200 HP hero, no armor, she has to aim now, so she can’t dance like a monkey with coke, you actually have to hit to do damage . And the teleport takes 1 sec to “come online” so she can just blink it and out, even if she enters the “duel” dentering from a portal she just threw down, most heroes have mobility so they can either run away, or they have CC, and she is dead. She is for squicsy

Make sure you post it on the official OW forum, then they’ll try. end up giving her 50 more shieldosomething.

I was looking forward to it so I tested it on the PTR. His left click is great, but it does less damage than I expected. His TP is as hard to position as I feared, but oh, so cool. EVERYTHING goes through this, including your turrets. I also like the latest of him, but I see people don’t like him. The changes to the towers are also great.

Overall he felt a lot faster which is good. On the other hand, she also felt delicate. I never thought I’d lose a shield, but she lacked something in terms of survival. Próba zmylenia ludzi d TP działa tylko przez tak długi czas. When it comes to DPS, it’s pretty flimsy.

AllObservationthe hero is a special snowflake.

Different weapons, different abilities, different movement speeds, different oddities. Learning to stand out with a champion doesn’t mean you are a champion Observation.

Playing a hero the “right” way only gets you so far, of course. Positioning, team formation (on both sides) and general skill level are still important; you can play the hero perfectly and keep failing. But you probably won’t win until you learn to play with whoever you use.

We are with you. Read on for tips, strategies, and maps / modes that are ideal to help you do less crap in usage Observationthe transporter lover, Symmetra.

Breakdown of skills

Primary weapon: photographic projector. Fires a sustained short-range beam that automatically homes in on a neardtarget. Deals continuous damage, increasing the longer the range you connect. That damage bonus remains in effect if you immediately switch to a new target, but the boost begins to decrease after three seconds without dealing any damage.

Secondary Fire: Energy Ball. Wystrzeliwuje wolno poruszającą się kulę energii, która zadaje średnie o duże obrażenia, które przenikają zarówno przez bariery, jak i wrogów. The damage depends on how long each blast is charged, with each blast consuming 10-20 rounds from the 100-round clip.

Watchtower: Builds a small, low-health turret on any flat floor, walloceiling. Allturret fires a short-range sustained beam that does moderate damage while slowing down the target. The Symmetra can store up to three turret “charges” and have up to six turrets active simultaneously.

Photon shield:Grants the selected ally a shield of 25 health that remains active – even recharges when it runs out – as long as the ally is alive.

Umiejętność ostateczna: Teleportation. A beacon that, when placed on the ground, creates a teleport between the team’s spawn zone and the location of the beacon. The teleporter remains active until it is destroyed after six team members have used it. The teleporter also disappears as the team’s spawn zone moves, repaying some of Symmetra’s final charge in the process.

How symmetrical

Symmetra may be the most difficultObservation a hero to master. She’s the only Support-class character that can’t heal allies, but her biggest asset — the Teleportation ult — is arguably more important in some circumstances.

With Symmetra, it is important to micromanage turret placement. You can deploy up to six Ball Turrets at any one time, but they are very weak to incoming fire. Oneotwo shots and they’re toast.

It’s best to cluster turrets together in the same area, usually to defend a particular bottleneckoteam staging point (such as wherever you place the Teleportation). Avoid placing them next to each other if you can, as a well-placed explosive can take out the group.

Generally, look for out-of-the-way nooks and crannies. High is better than low when it comes to turret placement, so look at the ceilings and above the doors / arches.

Symmetra turrets are great tools for ambushing, especially as they slow down the target. Often you will be killed just because your chosen enemy cannot turn around fast enough.

The Symmetry Photo Projector is also a primary ambush weapon when using its short range attack. It’s invaluable against faster-moving opponents like Tracer, since it automatically targets anyone closest in your line of sight.

When you manage to block someone, do your best to hunt down. Remember: Symmetra’s damage increases the longer the beam of the projector is active. If you take out a target and see another one nearby, take advantage of it and keep distributing the pain.

Don’t overlook his Energy Ball or his ability to break through barriers, especially Reinhardt’s shield. That shield can often makeobreak a defensive huddle, and Symmetra’s ability to damage anyone clustered behind it can change the flow of a match.

How to play symmetra

Photo: Blizzard Entertainment

Also: Don’t forget to replenish your team’s Photon shields whenever there’s a quiet moment. It’s a permanent, recharging shield for as long as the Photon shielded ally is alive, but it needs to be reapplied if they’re killed. The shield doesn’t offer huge protection, but a little more damage absorption never hurts.

When it comes to placing the Teleportation, choose a spot that the enemy team won’t have an easy time reaching. Specific placement is always very map – and situation-specific, but you’ll generally want to make sure it’s somewhere out of sight, with similarly concealed turrets to defend it.

When you’re placing turrets for Teleportation defense, try to anticipate where an enemy might first catch a glimpse of the portal. Twoim celem powinno być przerywanie wrogom, zanim zdążą zniszczyć Teleportation.

Best maps / modes: Symmetra is generally best in any defense scenario, but brings a lot of offensive utility to Escort / Hybrid maps in particular. Attacking on those maps is all about maintaining momentum, and an active Teleportation ensures minimal downtime when teammates are fragged and respawning.

It took me over twelve hours of gameplay. My experience? Your best bets are defense at Watchpoint: Gibraltar and King’s Row.

Four suggestions:
– Make a habit out of setting up your turrets in areas that the enemy team either has to useowill frequently use. Well-placed turrets can charge 20-40% of your ultimate in under thirty seconds from the start of the game.
– Don’t be afraid to attack people from the front. You’ll likely die a couple of times, but Symmetra’s pistol will charge her ult incredibly quickly.
– Use the microphone. When you install a teleporter, tell your team. If someone has just died, it could lead them to use teleportation when they normally would have missed it.
– Put your teleporters in spots where you know they’ll be safe, even if it means placing them a little farther back than youoyour team would like. It’s still beneficial for your team, so I’d say it’s okay.

Beyond that, be patient. The game that ultimately unlocked this for me worked overtime twice. Seems like it requires both teams to f *** up just enough to extend the game to elevenotwelve minutes instead of the normal max of ten.
