Slow Cooker Tips & Tricks

• They can be an excellent breeding ground for bacteria and pathogens.

• Preheat the pot while you heat the oven. Plug it in and set it to maximum to keep it nice and hot to cook.

• Add everything to the pan as preheated as possible to limit the cooking of hot food, here you have to be careful and make sure that everything is hot and ready for cooking within 2-3 hours. If food stays between 41 and 135 degrees for 4 hours, it should be discarded as bacteria and pathogens have taken too long to develop and foodborne illness is likely to result.

• If adding meat, make sure it is defrosted and NEVER frozen, if it is beef or pork, brown it first.

• Add hot liquids, eg. use HOT water or heat liquids first in the microwave oven and then add them to those already hot.

Is very good. I like that the salad is quite dry and makes the sandwich crunchy. I recommend a more substantial roll, such as a roll.

Honestly one of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. My wife is still thrilled with how good it was. I used Rudy’s wholegrain sandwiches for the burgers, the dark pasture chicken I cooked with lemon butter the day before, and the cabbage, but I think they’d still be great. The sauce is great, especially against the background of the sweetness of the cabbage. Don’t skip a single ingredient here as they are all good. I served it with a cob of corn and chopped oranges.

I came home tonight and didn’t feel like doing what I had planned so I searched through the chicken sandwiches and got it. I had half a pound of skinless chicken breasts, so I sprinkled them with salt, pepper, hot smoked paprika and garlic powder and cooked. When they were almost cooked, I cut the chicken into strips and then added it to the sauce which cooked for about 8 minutes. I cooked another 10 minutes and served it on the rolls. I skipped fame because I didn’t have one at home. The sauce had a great aftertaste. In any case I recommend it!

Great sauce. I added a little less mayonnaise and vinegar to the salad; it went well with the grilled chicken. The flavors turned out to be even better the next day;)

Made according to the recipe and it was yummy! Easy and delicious. Great for a weekly meal or a quick casual guest dinner. Definitely to do again!

Super fast. Made with leftover grilled chicken on the quarter, so the meat was a little drier than the rotisserie but still good enough. Topper Colesław was a success. Easy and messy bun.

The whole family loved this sandwich. It takes about 15 minutes from start to finish and tastes great. Definitely a keeper. You can read my full review at: http: // bit. ly / K8Czer

I rarely follow a recipe exactly as written, this time I did. It was very nice as soon as it all came together. I will definitely use this quick salad recipe for other sandwiches and really enjoyed the quick barbecue sauce.

It was a fairly easy recipe for a weeknight and super cheap. It took longer to get the whole chicken off the bone than anything else. Get a helper and it’ll be even faster! I consumed all the chicken I took out and maybe I should have paid more attention to how much chicken it was because after adding the sauce the meat was not as juicy as I would have liked. Next time I’ll make more barbecue sauce or add exactly the amount of chicken needed. It was very tasty though! I was without garlic powder, so I added fresh garlic and it worked great. I also used a thin bun instead of the usual burger buns and it was super tasty nonetheless. I will definitely do it again.

I did exactly as I wrote and it was super fast and delicious! Nothing fancy at all, but it was perfect for a quick night out of the week. Highly recommended.

How to make barbecue turkey or chicken sandwiches

When people think of using leftover roast chicken, the first thing that usually comes to mind is chicken salad. But here’s another excellent way to turn leftover roast chicken into a yummy lunch the next day – make a grated barbecue chicken sandwich.

The grated barbecue chicken sandwich recipe is very simple. Hai solo bisogno di 3 ingrediants per la ricetta di un panino con pollo grigliato grattugiato:

  • Boiled chicken meat
  • BBQ BBQ Sauce
  • Sandwich

Grated barbecue grill sandwich sandwich recipe

Preparation time: 10 minute(s)

Step 1 of Making Shredded Barbecue Chicken sandwich: Shred the chicken

The chicken can be chopped with a knife or food processor equipped with a cutting disc. I don’t like doing extra work, so I always use the food processor.

If you’re using a food processor to chop the chicken, be sure to use the top circular cutting disc. Don’t use the usual blade that goes inside the food processor – it will turn the chicken into crumbs instead of shreds! Put the mincing disc in the food processor, put the chicken in the top feed tube and turn on the food processor.

Here’s the secret that will make the slicing blade produce shreds instead of slices: don’t press on the chicken – let the gravity do the work. This way the chicken will be properly ground.

Step 2 Of Making Shredded Barbecue Chicken Sandwich: Add The BBQ Sauce

Place the grated chicken in a microwave-safe dish. Mix shredded chicken with bottled barbecue sauce or homemade barbecue sauce.

Step 3 Of Making Shredded Barbecue Chicken Sandwich: Warm In A Microwave

Place the chicken and BBQ sauce mixture in the microwave and heat until the shredded grilled chicken is hot.

Step 4 Of Making Shredded Barbeque Chicken Sandwich: Put BBQ Chicken On A Sandwich

Place a spoonful of shredded hot barbecue chicken on the bottom of the bun, then place the top bun on top.

Now bite into this juicy barbecue sandwich with minced chicken and enjoy a juicy barbecue sauce!

How to make barbecue turkey or chicken sandwiches

Man, I have a winner for you today! Pulled turkey (or chicken or pork!) With homemade barbecue sauce and the tastiest french fries ever! And you throw the turkey into a slow cooker to cook it. how beautiful is it?

Anyone else ready for summer to come back? Or at least I would like a few more hours of light! Hope there are more meals on the blog in the coming months, so I can’t wait for Mr. Sun to stay a little longer in the afternoon!

How to make barbecue turkey or chicken sandwiches

My mother and sister are the brains behind this recipe. and all I did was take pictures! This is one of our favorite dishes lately, nice and simple. Put the turkey in the slow cooker for a few hours, take it out, chop it, add the barbecue sauce (skip the homemade portion if it’s too picky for you!) And voila!

It’s also a great recipe if you have turkey leftovers lying around! I know it’s a little late for Christmas turkey, but it’s a great idea for future turkey dinners! We all love the good old turkey sandwich, but sometimes you want to mix things up a little. especially if you cook a huge turkey!

Try the Texas Barbecue Sauce Coffee Scrubed Cheeseburgers on this page. You can safely put it on cardboard with good results.

I agree with others that a sauce is a little bland when prepared exactly as written. After a bit of tweaking and paired with turkey and salad on a roll, although it really does combine and is a fun and unique way to use up leftover turkey. I recommend that you play with the sauce and make it your own. The slaw is delicious!

Great idea, but this sauce is not good. We will use a different sauce recipe and try again.

I agree with some of the other reviewers on the sauce, so I added some Trader Joe’s BBQ sauce and it turned out to be quite tasty. I thought the salad was ok, but I added some agave syrup to reduce the acidity. The family loved it and will definitely do it again. It was a nice change for the turkey leftovers.

I added about a teaspoon of grilled Worcestershire sauce. I served the turkey with mashed potatoes – no sandwich or salad. It was a delicious and easy recipe. This definitely made the leftover turkey taste delicious!

I filled the cumin for the smoked paprika and when it boiled I added a glass of balsamic vinegar – GREAT!

I’m with a cook from Oxford OH. Almost boring lunch. I love to cook, but the barbecue sauce was so bland that I couldn’t help but wonder why I wouldn’t just buy a jar of factory-made barbecue sauce – at least it would have some flavor. Big disappointment for that.

If anyone can think of a better way to use TGturkey’s leftovers, let them know!

Recipe OK. The sauce is the key to this and it was just OK different. Slaw is fine, but he could use tweaking for a more personal taste, but it’s a good basis to start with. Ai giocatori di poker piacciono le spezie, quindi abbiamo aggiunto del buon Jalepeno alla salsa per insaporire un po’, e alcuni altri ingrediants segreti del poker e abbiamo colpito Mother Lode sulle papille gustative. This recipe is easy to change to your taste, or so it will be.

Oh. I wasn’t expecting much. i w interesie pełnego ujawnienia nie zrobiłem prawa. even as I was making barbecue sauce, I was wondering how to fix it. But I decided to leave it for a while for the leftover chicken, poured and seasoned it just before serving. put it in the fridge for the afternoon. I’m so glad I didn’t “fix” it (even though I added 1 teaspoon of salt when I was first making it) – the sauce is amazing after it’s dipped in poultry and all the flavors have had time to marry. Smoked, bacon, tart and some dessert – it was great! I know what we’re going to do with the turkey leftovers next week. I baked some simple white sesame rolls with some butter to make the grill – perfect.

I didn’t like it at all. Adoro la griglia e ho pensato che avesse tutti gli ingrediants necessari per un pasto veloce semplice e delizioso. The salad was bland and the grill was terrible. A strictly followed recipe has produced something more like a marinara sauce than a barbecue. Mancavano gli ingrediants piccanti e piccanti che di solito sono associati a una buona salsa barbecue. Turkey was an acceptable substitute for pork, but the whole dish eventually fell out.

I made it with whole grain rolls, replaced the mayonnaise with low-fat Greek yogurt, and didn’t use sugar. still so delicious. great for a quick lunch.
