Removing animations from a PowerPoint presentation is quick and easy, but what if you just want to turn off animations during a particular presentation? Good news; there’s a way.

The master slide controls all the predefined layouts and predefined slides included in our templates. There can be multiple layout pages under each motif. You can have multiple The slide masters, and each Guest can have multiple systems attached to it. This is similar to the titles and subtitles in an outline.

In the screenshot below, the top slide isGuestall under and backsystem attached to the Guest.

Adding and Subtracting Items from the The slide master in PowerPoint Templates

An element placed on the The slide master is copied to any system page attached to the Guest. There is a way to hide The slide master graphics on the attached systems. This will be explained later. If you remove the globe from the The slide master, the top slide in the illustration above, it is also removed from all the system pages of the template.

That’s great if you don’t want the globe to appeareverywherein the model, but the original problem was that we wanted the globe animation to only show onselect slidesdon’t get rid of it completely.

There are a few things you can do at this point.

Options

1 Cut the animation from the The slide master and then Paste it into the individual systems where you want it to appear.

Any element you place on a system slide will only appear in your presentation when you choose that system. This is fine, but if you start adding elements to the systems, it can quickly get confusing where the final resting place for that element is. Is that picture on an actual slide, on a system, ois it on the The slide master?

2 Duplicate the The slide master

This is my favorite option. Because you can have multiple The slide masters in your template, you can duplicate the The slide master.

Choose ‘Duplicate The slide master’ from the menu after you right-click the top of the The slide master. With this new The slide master, in our example, you can create a complete set of new systems without the globe animation, and a complete set with the animation.

After exiting the The slide master view, you have a completely new set of systems available to you in the normal PowerPoint view.

Hiding Elements Used on the The slide master from PowerPoint Templates
