    Hi, is it possible or does anyone know how to store pictures in Excel and display them as a presentation on the home page (tab) when opening the spreadsheet? I just want to use Excel (no reference to Power Point or jpeg), it must be self contained. VBA is fine. My job is to have a spreadsheet that, once opened, executes a VBA script that shows the series of photos at an ever-faster pace until the final image, a kind of flash intro to a website. in VBA that does not use external files, add-ons or other software packages?
    Thanks man

    There are many reasons you might be interestedinsert multiple photos into single slides at once using PowerPoint. For example, if you’d like to protect your PowerPoint presentations by avoiding users to change editable fieldsodata values, then importing the slides as pictures into a new presentation could be a possible approach.

    If you want to import hundreds of photos into PowerPoint slides, it can be really tedious to add each image file as a single slide. Here, however, we suggest a method that will reach you easily import multiple photosopicture files into PowerPoint as individual slides. The best of this is that you just need to select which files to import from your hard disk (doesn’t matter if it is only one fileo100’s of files) and then PowerPoint will insert all the pictures into individual slides.

    Use a photo album to batch import multiple photos into PowerPoint

    Photo Album is a Microsoft PowerPoint feature that allows you to easily create a photo album from image files. This can be very useful for people who want to create a family photo album, but it is also a very powerful tool for professional presenters who need to import multiple photos as slides.

    1. Go to Insert -> New Photo Album in PowerPoint

    Let’s start creating a New Photo Album. Go to Insert -> Photo Album -> New Photo Album and then a new dialog box will appear.

    2. Select the image files to insert as PowerPoint slides

    Below is an example of the Photo Album dialog where you can configure how to create a photo album, select photos to include in the album, choose a layout, and preview.

    How to create a slideshow of excel images

    Now click on File / Drive to select image files from your computer. This new file dialog allows you to choose which files will be placed in the album. As soon as you select the files and accept the changes, the photos will appear below Photos in the albumChecklist.

    In this example, we have exported all the slides from the Metro Dashboard template to JPG images and saved them to our local hard drive. So we have selected all these JPG images to create a new photo album following this approach.

    You can use the File Dialog to save multiple files at once (keep Modify key pressed and then select all the files) and then the file names will appear in the file name text box. Then click on All images and these files will be selected for your photo album.

    3. Select Fit to Slide in Image Layout

    If you don’t want to import multiple photos on the same slide, select Fit to Slide in the Album Layout section of the Edit Photo Album dialog box. This way your photos will fit on entire slides, making them look like the original presentation file, but have a background image instead.

    Advice: If you want to protect your presentations from editing, you can use this method suggested here to attach photos as PowerPoint slides by removing all editable fields from the PowerPoint presentation. This can be good while sharing a PowerPoint presentation with colleagues and co-workers for reviewosharing a PowerPoint online and at the same time prevent the original file to be copiedoedited. Interestingly, this method can be safer than other methods which involve protecting presentation files with passwordoconverting the presentation to slideshow (.ppsx).

    The method proposed here allows you to convert multiple images from your hard drive to PowerPoint slides without wasting time (it only takes a few clicks if your image files are already stored on your hard drive). Also, this method can be used as needed add multiple images to an existing PowerPoint presentation.

    Protect your PowerPoint presentation by inserting photos as individual slides

    If you want to protect your PowerPoint presentations by inserting the slide images as individual slides with no editable elements, you can follow the steps below:

    1. Open the original presentation (the presentation file you want to protect).
    2. Go to File -> Save As and save PowerPoint Slides as Images.
    3. Choose the output folder where the presentation files will be saved.
    4. Open a blank presentation in PowerPoint
    5. Go to Insert -> Photo Album -> New Photo Album
    6. Using the method suggested in this article, insert all the images previously saved on your hard drive.
    7. Save the new presentation with a new file name by going to File -> Save As and now choose the. pptx file format. We recommend that you identify the file name with the suffix my-presentation-noedit. pptxosomething like that, in order to recognize easily that it is the modified version.

    Now you can safely share the presentation with any colleague, co-workeroclassmateoeven publish the PowerPoint online.

    The screenshot below shows an example we made according to the previous steps. As you can see, the final result is very close to the original model. The only difference for the end user is that the slides are displayed as images and there are no editable fields. Also, you can’t copy shapes or images within the dashboard.

    How to create a slideshow of excel images

    Alternatively, if you are securing your presentation with this approach suggested here, you might consider adding a watermark image to the top of each slide (be sure to add this before exporting your slides as JPG images) so that the watermark cannot be edited together with the background of the film.

    This tutorial was created based on the Photo Album feature in PowerPoint 2013 on Windows, but you can also use it with Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. This feature is only available in Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows versions, but if you are a Mac user, it is a solution to this problem. You can use the Batch Image Importer tool provided by Andrea Frank from Boston College or a batch import images add-in for PowerPoint 2011.

    After reading this, I found it very informative.

    I appreciate that you took the time and energy to collect this information.
    Again, I both spend a lot of time reading
    and leaving comments. But then, it was still worth it!

    Thanks so much

    These are actually great blogging ideas. You touched on some nice things here. Keep writing anyway.

    Admiring the effort you put into your website and the detailed information you provide.
    It’s nice to come across a blog once
    it hasn’t been the same obsolete material for a while.
    Great reading! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

    If you are looking for the best content like me, always visit this webpage for this reason alone
    provides quality content, thanks

    This is really cool. It gave me a good starting point. A couple of pointers, though:

    – Remove the “Fade out” animation. This can cause problems in the middle of the animation when both images have an opacity of about 0.5. I assume you’ve tried to mitigate this somehow by running your animations with different tempos, but that causes another problem: timing alternate. To see it, increase one of the animation times to a couple of seconds. You’ll see that one fade is quick and one is slow, and they alternate.
    – Play with the panel. The ZIndex property. Since you only have a “FadeIn” animation, you’ll want to bring that image to the foreground so that you can see it. To do this, move the visible image control to the back and bring the new image control to the front. Here’s a replacement for some of the code in _PlaySlideShow()

    var imgFadeOut = _imageControls[oldcontrol keyIndex];
    Dish. SetZIndex (imgFadeOut, 0);
    var imgFadeIn = _imageControls[_currentcontrol keyIndex];
    Dish. SetZIndex (imgFadeIn, 1);
    imgFadeIn. opacity = 0;
    var newSource = _images [_currentSourceIndex];
    imgFadeIn. Source = new source;

    This will ensure a nice consistent fade with each pass.

    Thanks so much, Greg! My digital management presentation at work sometimes didn’t show any images for the entire duration of the image. I’ve implemented your edits and my presentation shows one image after another with honestly cleaner animation. The animation style is personal preference but yours fixed my slideshow’s functionality. A good addition to a great tutorial.

    source code only. obviously thanks 4

    Unfortunately, this mundane demo only works on a handful of images. Over dozens of images throws OutOfMemoryException in PresentationCore. dll. I see posts on the web where ImageSource cannot be used to dynamically display images. I’m still looking for a real presentation example.

    How do I add a hyperlink to each photo?

    This example is useful to me now

    Thanks for all the valuable comments.
