How to cancel an appointment

Scheduler customers can schedule, reschedule and cancel meetings on their own. This guide explains how customers book and manage their visits. Testing the process yourself is also a great way to find out how your online booking works.

Advice: You and your employees can also make appointments for customers from the appointment calendar.

Make an appointment

Customers book appointments via the Appointment Schedule Block or from your scheduling side.

To make an appointment, customers:

  1. Select the type of meeting.
  2. Select a calendar to book or selectAny available. If you have only one calendar or have customized the schedule page to show only one calendar, customers will skip this step.
  3. Select a date and time from the list of available meeting times.
  4. Enter your first and last name, And-mail address and telephone number and answer the questions entered in the application forms.
  5. Enter your payment information and coupon or package code, if applicable.
    If you don’t charge for appointments, clients will skip this step. If payment is optional, customers will decide if they want to pay.
  6. Click the confirm button to make an appointment and pay if necessary.
  7. They will be redirected to the confirmation page with meeting details. They will also receive a confirmation email with meeting details and a calendar invitation.

Change the date of your visit

To reschedule the visit, customers:

  1. Click hereEdit / Cancel visit in the initial confirmation email they receive after booking. Returns them to the confirmation page.
  2. Click hereChange the date.
  3. Choose a new date and time. They’ll see only the times you’re available.
  4. Click hereChange the date.
  5. They will be redirected to a confirmation page and will receive an email with updated meeting details.
  • Customers can only select a new date and time. For other required changes, you need to edit the appointment internally from the Schedule panel.
  • Your scheduling limits control how close to an appointment your customers can reschedule. For example, you can prevent customers from rescheduling visits within two hours of the original time.

Cancel the meeting

To cancel a visit, customers:

  1. Click hereEdit / Cancel visit in the initial confirmation email they receive after booking. Returns them to the confirmation page.
  2. Click hereCancel.
  3. Click hereYes, cancel the meeting.
  4. They will be redirected to the customer’s schedule page with a cancellation confirmation email and will receive a cancellation confirmation email.
  • Your scheduling limits control how close to meetings your clients can cancel. For example, you can prevent customers from canceling visits within 24 hours.

You can reschedule from your public account as long as more than 24 hours have passed before the upcoming meeting.

To reschedule an appointment:

In case of activation by the Company, the notification of the rescheduling can be sent to the email address of your account.

  • If you paid in advance for the original visit, the payment will be carried over to the rescheduled appointment.
  • During rescheduling, you can choose a different staff and a different time. you cannot choose another service. If you want to book a different Service, cancel your esisthiste visit and book a new one.
  • If you ask to reschedule within 24 hours, you will be asked to contact the Company directly to make changes. Under Upcoming meetings, select See the companyto find your information on the Contact page.
  • If you have more than 10 upcoming appointments booked, only the first 10 show in Upcoming meetings.
