How to avoid committing suicide

If you have suicidal thoughts, the first thing to remember is that most people who have attempted suicide and survived end up being relieved that they have not finished their lives.

If you’re prthey to suicidal thoughts, ensure that any means of committing suicide have been removed. For example, hand your tablets and sharp objects to a trusted forson for safekeeping, or store them in a locked cupboard or other hard-to-reach location.

Also make sure there is no chance of committing suicide. The surest way to do this is to maintain close contact with one or more people, such as inviting them to be with you or to be with them.
